So, Pawnee Poo fed us the yummiest Thai food this weekend.

I decided that I was finally going to give it a try. We had gone to the Asian grocery store, so I was fully stocked on supplies.

Then I called Pawnee a hundred times or something like that.

And I did it! It was pretty close to the Pawnee version! Yay!!

I had noticed that my newest basil plant was starting to look pretty sparse. The next morning, the kids found this destroying angel who has almost decimated my basil plant.

That's so ANNOYING!!!

The other annoying thing is that my sweet Chenny Boy has fallen in love with the little guy. They're friends now.

Someone's in trouble.

Her name is Flower (or Kitty, whatever you prefer).

She has been a real stinker lately. She knows how to get out attention, and lately it means bugging the kids-Kenji in particular. He's allergic to her when she gets up in his face, so she goes straight to him at 2am, or whenever she gets a hankering for wet food.

This wakes the whole house up, which is exactly what was going for.

I was trying to figure out what I was going to do with this shopping cart cover my friend Frieda gave me when we had Jordis. Then, Jordis started wearing it around to keep herself warm, but have full leg action.

It was genius!

So, we put together a last-minute surprise party for the Bubbers this week. Ivy made one of the coolest cakes ever for the boy! He was just taking everything in--all of a sudden the dark became filled with a flaming spiderman cake. It had to be one of the coolest moments ever for him!

Guess who's getting braces again! And he's excited about it, too! It eliminates the pressure of keeping his retainer in every night. We'll see if he's still excited about them in two years.

It's hard to get mad at this kid sometimes. It really is! Although, with that 'little brother' role he's been pulling out on my tootie-pie little sister, the cuteness isn't almost holding up.
